ABOUT ALDERNEY...

"You can keep your villas in the south of France and your time shares in Tenerife. We've got that Alderney Feeling!" - Fiona Duncan, The Daily Telegraph
Just one and a half miles wide and three and a half miles long, Alderney is a little oasis. Sister to the Channel Islands of Guernsey and Jersey, Alderney boasts an ancient and fascinating history, beautiful beaches, extraordinary vistas and a lovely, temperate climate. Located just 8 miles off the coast of France, the island has managed to avoid mainstream tourism, yet has its own airport and harbour, with direct and regularly scheduled air links from the UK. (See "Getting to Alderney" below for details.)

With just over two thousand friendly and welcoming inhabitants, the island offers many different holiday experiences - from spectacular walks along picturesque cliffs to swimming in its crystal clear waters, as well as fishing, golf, birdwatching, cycling and enjoying its variety of fresh seafoods and local produce at the many fine restaurants and pubs.
